We got up bright and early to be at work by 7:30a.m.
Connie works in state government for the
Board of Claims in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
The Board is actually a court
specializing in contract suits against the
Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. There are
three (3) Judges, an executive secretary
(that's Connie), an administrative officer,
several legal staff, legal assistant staff
and an in-house computer administrator.
Connie works in one of the tallest buildings in Harrisburg.
It's the Fulton Bank Building. Besides the bank on the
first and second floors, there are several public and state offices.
There is a bright orange, neon sign on the top of the
building that says "Fulton Bank". At night, you can see
it from far away and from the west banks of the Susquehanna
River. It is pictured quite often in advertisements in
the area. A picture is posted below of the Fulton Bank Building.
There are many things to see and do around the capital city
of Harrisburg. But today, it started getting real windy.
We didn't venture out sight-seeing because Connie was afraid
I might blow away. When the wind died down over the weekend,
we continued our journey. Click below to see what I saw!
